Measuring up the Job
With every kitchen having its own differing space and characteristics it is integral that all aspects are considered when measuring the site. It is an area that must be looked at with due attention given to access for deliveries, dry and refrigerated goods storage, food preparation, the cooking line, the staff who are working the kitchen and of course the viewpoint and facilities to the customer. From here we will be aided by a floor plan and images to take back to our office to proceed to the next stage.
Massey Catering Equipment will before any project ensure we are fully aware of all facilities that your site already has or may require. This stage of the planning process will adhere to critical issues such as planning permissions, legalities and regulations to address, the supply of gas and electric, ventilation, extraction outlets and who it may affect, in summary all issues that can arise you can be sure we have seen and dealt with before and is for this reason our expertise allows us to overcome any challenge our customers can face.
This stage is where our Design team will get to work on creating a well-balanced kitchen design drawing illustrated using the latest CAD software. This will give you a complete overview of the area highlighting the equipment placement and the exact dimensions of each area meaning our customers can truly visualise how their new kitchen will look and also how it will flow. Again many aspects such as storage, refrigeration, extraction systems, cooking lines, hygiene, dishwashing, safety and critically the staff and customers will all be at the forefront of the design stage ensuring the end result is utilised both cost effectively and to the highest standard.
